TWELVE Dutch travel agents have been on a trip to the Costa del Sol to discover what it has to offer, and found their perception of the coast as just another sun and sand destination changed forever.
Along with visits to Malaga City and Marbella, the familiarisation trip organised by TravMedia Company and Vueling airline, headed inland to visit Ronda, Ardales and Alora and allowed the agents to discover the hidden side of the area.
Costa del Sol Tourism President Elias Bendodo recently reported that the Dutch market is on the up with almost 25,000 more visitors from the country registered up to August (the latest figures published by the National Statistics Institute).
