Monte Malaga hotel sale

THE management of Cadena Monte has reached an agreement to sell the four star Monte Malaga hotel situated near the beach and Picasso museum which opened in 2005 to Ilunion Hotels, part of the ONCE business group, Europa Press has reported.

The hotel staff’s legal representatives have informed them that they will not be affected at all by the change of ownership and the new owners will take over the entire staff which is in the region of 60 people.

Once the sale documents are signed the employees’ contracts with Cadena Monte will be cancelled and the next day they will be given contracts with Ilunion Hotels, which will take over all the previous employers’ obligations and conditions. Ilunion Hotels, formerly known as Confortel Hoteles, currently has 22 three and four star hotels in the main Spanish cities.
