Mayor meets local bodybuilder

THE Mayor of Calvia, Alfonso Rodriguez, met with local bodybuilder, Juanma Rodriguez, who is sub-champion of Spain in natural physio-bodybuilding.

He was also met by the councillors for Safety, Andreu Serra, and sports, Eva Serra.

The bodybuilder is a Local Police officer in the town and has twice been Spanish champion.

He attended the National Natural Bodybuilding Championship last month, organized by the Spanish Association of Natural Bodybuilding in Salamanca, and became sub-champion.

He said that the organisers, Sandra Lopez and Fernando Garcia, are pioneers in this type of bodybuilding in Spain. He is currently preparing to take part in the World Championship this month in Barcelona.
