VICAR is playing an important part in a UNICEF challenge against infant malnutrition, local mayor Antonio Bonilla has announced.
A group of representatives from the town led by the mayor took part in the Andalucian Forum of Cities that are Friends of Infants in Sevilla, which gathered for two days to share experiences, knowledge and educational strategies in line with application of the Children’s Rights Convention. Vicar, Bonilla explained, has been chosen as the provincial centre for the Unicef challenge, and those wishing to help the cause can donate €2 by texting Vicar to 38028. The total amount raised, the mayor said, will go straight to Unicef.
