AN Almeria City club issued a statement confirming it had not shut down.
Earlier the disco in Marques de Comillas was told to close by the city hall following complaints from residents about noise and flouting city bylaws. It was cordoned off after ignoring the closure order but the police tape was later removed and it reopened three days later.
Policia Local officers who went to investigate were shown a court order which had been granted ‘as a precautionary measure.’ Residents pessimistically recalled a closure notice issued last February.
This came to nothing, they said, because city hall failed to complete all the necessary paperwork.
