Police investigate death of Marbella man

THE National Police force is investigating the circumstances of the death of a 57-year-old man found in the doorway of his apartment block in Marbella just after midnight on Friday November 6.

The victim, of Spanish nationality, was found with signs of violence by a couple walking their dog at 12.20am.

Although when the police and an ambulance arrived at the scene the man was still alive he died half an hour later in spite of attempts to stabilise him.

Although a post mortem examination will be needed to determine the cause of death, the police force’s criminal investigation team initially suspects he was attacked and died as a result of the blows.
