THE Sabinillas Sports Centre in Manilva was opened in March although the indoor pool had not been finished and a new agreement now promises that the pool will be ready in four months at a budget of €750,000.
The council took over the funding for the complex after the developer didn´t complete the work and now Manilva Mayor Diego Jimenez, the Works and Infrastructures Councillor Antonio Barragan and a representative from the local company that will build the pool, have signed an agreement last week to finish work on the pool and other indoor facilities at the facility.
“Anything that means improving the services for citizens or creating new facilities is a satisfaction for the council team I represent,” Jimenez said.
