NATIONAL POLICE: Suspect he died from blows.

THE National Police force is investigating the circumstances of the death of a 50-year-old newsagent found in the doorway of his apartment block in Marbella just after midnight on Friday (November 6).

The victim, of Spanish nationality, was found with signs of violence by a couple walking their dog at 12.20am.

Although when the police and an ambulance arrived at the scene the man was still alive he died half an hour later in spite of attempts to stabilise him. Although a post mortem examination will be needed to determine the cause of death, the police force’s criminal investigation team initially suspects he was attacked and died as a result of the blows.

Latest information suggests there could be some connection between the man and his assailant although nothing concrete has yet been established but as the door to his house was open, it suggests the man may have been talking to his attacker (or attackers).
