WORK to install the new electricity cable network at the Los Barrios fairground will be complete by the end of December, Town Planning Councillor Miguel Alconchel has announced.
The work is progressing well and, the councillor said, ugly overhead cables will be removed from the area.
The project was awarded to Endesa Energia SAU, which drew up the best quote at a price of €198,331 plus IVA.
The councillor took the chance to explain that the fairground is gradually being improved with projects of this type which increase safety and improve its image.
