Butane Gas: price has dropped by more than five euros.
JUST in time for the onset of winter, the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism has announced that the maximum price of a cylinder of butane gas would be reduced to €12.68, with effect from November 17.
The price will remain static until a review to be held on the third Tuesday of January 2016. According to the ministry, the price of butane has dropped more than five euros this year. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) however will increase by 0.1 per cent due to a rise in costs of production in US Dollars.
