MABS fourth anniversary dinner dance

MABS Benidorm Branch celebrated their Fourth Anniversary at Camping El Raco on Saturday November 14 with 155 people joining in the celebrations.

The cancer charity organisation volunteers and friends enjoyed a delicious three-course meal at the restaurant with live entertainment from Spanish group Ole Duo.

MABS thanked all of the local businesses who have given so generously towards the evening’s raffle prizes, and a special mention to Tien21 who donated a Nespresso Coffee machine and accessories for the special prize draw, which was won by Diana and Tony from Javea, Alicante.

Director Sue Ruela thanked everyone for supporting the evening and stated that every single euro raised throughout the year goes towards helping those with cancer. 

She mentioned the great achievements this year including the acquisition of a palliative respite bed in Savia Nursing Home in La Nucia for the next 12 months, which was due to the continued fundraising events and generous donations by people throughout the year.
