THE farm school and public country grounds in Entrerrios, Mijas, are undergoing maintenance and improvement work which is currently focusing on planting native vegetation.
“Native plant species are being added to the grounds to allow youngsters and groups that visit the centre to learn more about them,” councillor Juan Carlos Maldonado explained during a visit to inspect the work.
The planting comes in addition to habitual maintenance tasks the centre staff and municipal job scheme employees do at the centre over the quiet winter months to prepare it for school trips in the spring.
