BELGIAN authorities released information on December 3 that they had arrested two more men on the preceding Sunday, who are suspected of being involved in some way with the attack on Paris on November 13.

One, a 20-year-old Frenchman identified only as Samir Z was arrested at Zaventem airport near Brussels whilst trying to board a flight for Morocco. According to Belgium prosecutors he was ‘considered to be part of the entourage of Bilal Hadfi’, one of the suicide bombers.

They went on to state that he was ‘under the suspicion of having attempted to leave for Syria at least twice in 2015’.

The other man who was described as a Belgian national and referred to as Pierre N 28 was detained in his home in the suburb of Molenbeek.

Both were placed in custody ‘on grounds of participating in the activities of a terrorist organisation’, the prosecutors’ statement said according to the BBC.
