CHRISTMAS LOTTERY: Three citizens of Axarquia have won this year.
THREE lucky Axarquia citizens have won €6,000 each in the Christmas Lottery. One of the winning tickets was sold in Velez-Malaga, one in Almuñecar and one in Motril.
Thirty-seven-year-old Inmaculada Lopez was the vendor of the ticket in Velez-Malaga. Lopez said that it was the second consecutive year that her establishment had sold a winning ticket, with a €20,000 ticket going out of her shop last year.
In Motril, Jesus Ruiz Perez was the lucky vendor, and he couldn’t contain his excitement. He said that it was “a joy” and that his establishment couldn’t wait to put up the poster that indicated that they had supplied a lucky ticket.
Meanwhile, in Almuñecar, a third ticket was sold by proud vendor Maria Teresa Gamarra. Her establishment has sold many winning tickets before, and Gamarra said they were “proud” of the good luck that they are always able to provide to their clients in the Christmas Lottery.
