WORKERS: Will be performing important tasks including cleaning the streets.
THE 96 beneficiaries of the Hiring Help Programme of Andalucia in Velez-Malaga have now begun their jobs in different parts of the town.
Each of the beneficiaries has been given a work contract that will last for three months, with a 35-hour working week. Prior to starting they completed a training course over two days.
Velez-Malaga Human Resources Councillor Ana Campos said the programme will benefit both the individuals and the town itself.
The workers will be performing important tasks like cleaning streets, controlling infestations, taking care of parks and gardens, and providing administrative support in different municipal dependencies.
