AT A campaign rally for Donald Trump held in South Carolina on January 8, a Muslim woman and her partner were ejected by police after she stood up and silently protested about some of the statements that Mr Trump had made with regards to the banning of Muslims from entry into the USA.

Rose Hamid, a 58-yearold flight attendant wearing a hijab and a t-shirt with the slogan “Salam, I come in peace” was booed by the audience who in accordance with prior instructions given in case of any attempt to interrupt his speech also chanted his name.

In response, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has urged him to apologise to Ms Hamid and to “make a clear statement that American Muslims are welcome as fellow citizens and as participants in the nation’s political process”.

Whilst no response has yet been received, Mr Trump and his officials were embarrassed to realise that at his rally on the following day in Ottumwa Iowa that a number of media passes contained an incorrect spelling and referred to the town as Ottumwba.

Rose Hamid set the incident up, giving an interview with CNN before and after being expelled. The incident was a fake and you fell for it.

And I am not sure it is as serious as hundreds of European women attacked and even raped in 40 European cities on New Year’s Eve.

      Is it?
