HUMAN TOWER: Castellers de Mallorca will start events with a performance in Plaza Mayor.
PALMA’S patron saint, San Sebastian, will be the reason to continue the party just a little while longer, with the world’s biggest street party to take place next Tuesday evening (January 19).
All over the city, stages will hear bands play from 8pm in the evening until the early hours. Squares such as the Plaza Mayor, Cort, Juan Carlos I, La Lonja, Plaza la Reina, Plaza España, Plaza Olivar and Plaza de Santo Domingo de la Calzada will offer music for all tastes, so both the young and the old can celebrate in style.
The evening will start in Plaza Mayor at 7pm with a performance from the human tower building group, Castellers de Mallorca, with music and the parade of the giants. At 8pm the first bonfire will be lit and everyone is invited to bring food to grill.
