ANYBODY interested in a spot of technology education can take advantage of three new courses available to all sections of the population. Councillor Lidia Moreno said that the courses are “very useful for the day-to-day and for those who hope to improve their knowledge of technology for work”.
Covering programmes like Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access, the courses will be of huge help to people looking to sharpen their IT skills. The use of tablets, mobiles and apps will also be included, while a special course will focus on retirees, introducing them to social networks and email.
The courses will take place in the Cultural Centre Cristobal Ruiz de la Cala on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30am, with certificates given upon completion.
