TWO Malaga towns are preparing to host part of the Vuelta a Andalucia – Ruta del Sol cycling race, a five-day tour which begins with a 162-kilometre leg from Huelva to Sevilla on February 17.
Alhaurin de la Torre and Estepona will feature in the final two stages of the tour.
A 21-kilometre time trial will be hosted in and around Alhaurin on the fourth day of the race, while coastal town Estepona will serve as the finishing line for the fifth and final stage.
Some of the world’s best cyclist teams are expected to attend the race, which also takes in Cordoba, Granada, Monachil and Padul.
