FEBRUARY 14 is traditionally the time that lovers exchange gifts, cards, kisses and sometimes rings but this year, a lot of Spain including Malaga had a different take on the day as it was Holi Day, a fun run over five kilometres very loosely based on a Hindu spring festival where everyone is covered in coloured powder.
It is estimated that 12,000 people took part in this the first Holi run and the whole purpose was to get as colourful as possible before enjoying music played by DJ Ben Hassel and a dance show from Daenerys.
The only rule was to arrive dressed in white and to leave dressed as a rainbow.
