CREATIVE children of Velez-Malaga will have an opportunity to show their stuff on March 19 during the mini-throne parade.
Between March 7 and March 17, those interested in participating can register in the Festivities Office, located in the town hall, between 10.30 am and 2 pm.
The parade aims to get children involved in Easter by having them design their own miniature thrones, which they can then carry during the parade.
Participants must be younger than 12 and the throne cannot be more than 70 centimetres tall. The maximum number of children allowed with each throne is 25.
The mini-throne parade will take place on March 19 at 5 pm. It will depart from the Paseo de Andalucia and will go around the town for about two hours, hitting various streets and landmarks before ultimately arriving at the Plaza de las Carmelitas.
