Real Madrid moves on to next stage of the Champions League

AFTER 29 years, Real Madrid has finally beaten an Italian team in the Champions League qualifying round. 

The mission was accomplished as the Zinedine Zidane squad won 2-0 against Roma in the second leg of the Champions League round 16.  

The whites, who won thanks to their brilliant counterattack, suffered more than expected as Roma had several chances of getting ahead in the game, especially during the first half of the match. 

However, a superb performance by Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas and the electrifying appearance of the speedy youngster Lucas Vazquez took Zidane´s men to the next round with goals by Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez.
