Pogs in Fuengirola.
SEVEN establishments were affected by a large fire which broke out at about 8pm on Thursday, March 10, on Calle Lamo de Espinosa in Fuengirola.
Pogs pub suffered serious damage as the ceiling completely collapsed, and restaurants and a hairdressing parlour were also affected.
The building where the fire broke out had to be evacuated for safety reasons, and firefighters from both Fuengirola and neighbouring Mijas spent more than 14 hours battling the blaze.
Local residents, aware of the serious nature of the fire, are also reported to have helped police officers and fire fighters.
Luckily no personal injuries have been reported.
