Planet is paramount in Torre del Mar

A NEW exhibition in Torre del Mar is aiming to get people thinking about what the planet means to them. 

The environmental association Protecma has unveiled the EcoScientia Planet exhibition, which is currently taking place in the Azucarera Museum. 

Through eight didactic spaces covering a surface of more than 1,300 square metres visitors will be educated and encouraged to think critically about such pressing environmental topics as renewable energy, global warming, endangered animals, noise pollution and microecology. 

The show features a variety of attention-grabbing panels, which are bilingual and have been designed so that children can understand them as easily as adults. 

There will also be photographs displayed from the finalists of the first edition of the Ecology and Environmental Photography Contest organised by Protecma for this exhibition. 

The show is open from 9am to 3pm daily until April 30.
