Marbella highlights plight of Syrians

MARBELLA has shown its support for the plight of Syrian refugees with the lowering of flags on the town council building. On March 16 the flags were lowered and will remain so until March 19. The deputy mayor’s office has lowered them in protest against the agreement reached between the European Union and Turkey for denying the right of asylum to Syrian refugees.
