MULTINATIONAL: Participants from 40 countries took part in the event.
MORE than 11,000 people enjoyed International Day at the Camilo Cano sports complex in La Nucia.
The 22 live performances from the 40 participating countries from four continents included music, dancing, folk dancing, and choirs. There were national costumes, culture and gastronomy galore during the thoroughly international day that was organised by the town hall’s Foreign Residents’ department.
This was the third consecutive year that the event has been held and it was attended by the Belgian, Norwegian and Bulgarian consuls as well as La Nucia’s Mayor Bernabe Cano and Foreign Residents’ councillor, Bart Gommans.
