Competition is predicted to be fierce.
THE 14th spring rhythmic gymnastics tournament will spin and whirl its way into the Elena Benitez sports centre in San Pedro de Alcantara on Saturday May 21.
Around 250 schoolchildren will participate in the event, which features a number of age classes and categories, with entrants competing individually, in pairs, or teams.
Apparatus on display will include ‘free hands’ (no apparatus), rope, balls, rings, and batons.
The competition gets under way at 10am, and members of the public are welcome to attend with entry free for all.
