WORKS COUNCILLOR: Jose Manuel Fernandez at the official opening.
AS summer approaches, the beaches of La Herradura and Almuñecar are gradually coming back to life.
Two chiringuitos (beach bars), Bambu on La Herradura beach and C’Mariano on Velilla beach in Almuñecar, have reopened to the public following extensive renovation works to modernise them and adapt them to the coastal authority’s regulations after receiving their new licences.
Chiringuitos La Sardina in La Herradura and Boto’s in Almuñecar had opened a few days beforehand and La Dorada Plateada and Bueno are due to do so within the next few days, bringing local beaches to life once more.
