DEALZ is the name Poundland is trading under in Spain and last night (Thursday June 9) saw the grand opening of their new store in the La Marina shopping centre at Benidorm-Finnestrat.
Dignitaries, including the mayor of Finestrat and the Spanish Consul joined senior staff from Poundland UK in cutting the ribbon to officially open the 6,000 square metre shop.
Alvaro Villamiz, director of Dealz España, told the Euro Weekly News that “the location was perfect for British expats, Spanish and tourists alike. We are very excited about this new store and hope to continue expansion into Spain”.
