The Gibraltar Politicians with Governor Davis.
GIBRALTAR’S latest tourist attraction, the Windsor Bridge on the Upper Rock, is a 71-metre-long suspension bridge at Royal Anglian Way.
Opened officially by the Chief Minister in the company of other Gibraltar Government Ministers and the Governor Ed Davis, none of the VIP guests showed any fear of heights as they strode across this special feat of engineering.
Constructed as it is over a 50-metre gorge, the work was undertaken by local firm Bovis Koala, in conjunction with the Spanish contractor I Muntanya, which has undertaken the production of similar projects in the Pyrenees.
