AS reported in Euro Weekly News 1625 the well-known local composer and artist Dario Poli was invited to compose a special anthem for the inaugural Gala of the Peace, Justice and Security Foundation at the Peace Palace in the Hague.

Having spent three hectic days in Holland, he has now returned to Marbella and has contacted EWN to say what a wonderful and inspiring time he had and he was especially proud when his creation Ever Changing World (music by Dario Poli, lyrics by David Mairs and production by David Redston) was finally premiered in front of an invited audience in the Palace.

Amongst the many celebrities attending there were also a number of people who shared their experiences of war and deprivation which left the entire audience in awe of their ability to carry on with their lives despite what had happened to them.

Amongst those he was privileged to meet were Cyber criminologist Dr Mary Atkin whose work inspired the CSI: Cyber series and he was proud to be one of the few recipients of a personally signed copy of her new book The Cyber Effect.

Dr Atkin who has been an advisor to Europol as well as a whole range of agencies ranging from Interpol to the FBI and even the White House made a point of saying how much she enjoyed the specially commissioned anthem.

After watching the thoroughly professional actress Sharon Stone make an amazing speech during the gala, he was very impressed when she conducted a special auction to raise funds for the Foundation, which she achieved with ease.

Dario then had a chance to meet her informally and was struck by how humble and gentle she was with no pretence at being a Hollywood star.
