The apparently perfect movie couple to divorce

CONSIDERED at one time to be so close that they became known as Brangelina, Angelina Jolie 41 has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt 52 citing irreconcilable differences, caused it is said because she doesn’t approve of the way in which her husband parents the children.

This might explain why Dame Angelina is suing for sole custody of their six children using the same lawyer who acted for Johnny Depp in his recent divorce case, Laura Wasser.

The female star is not asking for any financial support from her partner of 12 years, although they have only been married for two years, but clearly wants to end the relationship as quickly as possible to save disruption to the lives of their children, three of whom have been adopted and three who were born to the couple.

This will be the third divorce for Angelina Jolie who was previously married to Johnny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton whilst it was the second for Brad Pitt who left Jennifer Aniston when he became involved with Angelina during the filming of Mr and Mrs Smith.

The couple seem to have been living separate lives for some time with Angelina concentrating on humanitarian work whilst Brad is involved in a billion dollar recreational development in Croatia.

The last time they officially appeared together in public was late last year when they were promoting the film By the Sea which prophetically tells the story of an unhappily married couple and at that time, they admitted that it had a profound effect on them although it wasn’t a hit with the film going public.
