The Guardia Civil continue to arrest drug dealers throughout Spain

THERE was another big drugs bust for the Guardia Civil in Zaragoza and Bizkaia which ended up with the arrest of 12 people (one of whom is a female) aged between 24 and 48, from Algeria, Columbia, Morocco, Romania and Spain.

The operation was carried out in three phases targeting a range of people who were known to be friends or relations within a number of towns in Zaragoza and three men (Columbian and Spanish) were arrested with quantities of cocaine and hashish as well as €6,265 in cash.

In the second phase of the operation it is believed that the the main supplier of drugs to the group was arrested by agents of the Rapid Action Group and in his car, three kilos of speed were discovered in a hidden compartment.

Following this arrest of his man a search was made of a property in Bizkaia where a Moroccan and Spaniard were found to have a large stash of different drugs so they too were arrested.

The last phase of the operation  took place in the towns of Tauste and Alagón, at the homes of four other members of the group, in which additional drugs were found together with €48,000.

All in all, a range of drugs estimated to have a street value in excess of €250,000 together with drug cutting substances, mobile phones, computers, cash and a firearm were taken from those arrested.
