A VIDEO has emerged which depicts a young Frenchman entering the Apple Store in Dijon before proceeding to smash various items of high-end technology to smithereens using an iron petanque ball.

The apparently irate customer repeated a claim of his consumer rights during the bizarre raid, as he calmly demolished iPhones, iPods and Macbooks with his weapon of choice.

He was eventually collared by police after causing thousands of euros of damage, while the video promptly went viral and has attracted over four million views so far.
