It’s Magic

THE Ministry of Culture will be supporting the first Gibraltar International Magic Festival, which will take place from December 5 to 11 and is to be produced by GibMedia.

It appears that shows featuring illusion and magic are attracting large audiences around the world and this festival will consist of stage shows, close-up magic, conferences and workshops with award winning acts from Canada, Holland, Japan the UK and USA as well as participants from Gibraltar, all of whom will appear at the John Mackintosh Hall.

Minister for Culture, the Hon Steven Linares, said: “This is going to be an amazing festival adding an integral element to the expanding culture offerings for our community. We have a range of successful events now on offer and the Ministry of Culture is delighted to support this International Magic Festival for the enjoyment of our community and visitors alike.”
