Yes: Early detection of breast cancer increases cure

Symptoms of Breast Cancer: Initially, breast cancer may not cause any symptoms. A lump may be too small for you to feel manually or to cause any unusual changes you can notice on your own. Often, an abnormal area turns up on a screening mammogram, which leads to further testing.

There are symptoms that could be suspicious:
A physical change in the breast, such as a lump, a thickening or a change in its size or shape
Changes in the nipple such as retraction (pulling in of the nipple) or fluid that comes out on its own without squeezing
An inflammatory change, such as redness or hardening of the breast
A lump in the underarm lymph nodes

You should see a doctor right away if any of the previous sign occur.
