Three vehicles have been involved in a collision on the outskirts of the Alaior Industrial Estate in Menorca.  The accident happened at 7.30am when the driver of a Seat Leon swerved to avoid a Fiat Ducato van that had turned onto the Me-1 motorway.

The driver of the Seat crashed into the van at speed causing the car to roll several times before impacting with a microbus. The victims are a 44-year-old Menorcan resident, a 25-year-old British man and a 62-year-old British tourist.

Local Police along with Guardia Civil officers rushed to the scene accompanied by ambulances and were able to transfer the victims to the nearby Hospital Mateu Orfila where they are currently being treated for serious injuries.
