THE Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall has lost her baby, just weeks after she and rugby star husband Mike Tindall announced that she was pregnant with her second child.

The equestrian star, who is the daughter of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips, is understood to have suffered a miscarriage on Christmas Eve.

A spokeswoman for the couple told press: “Very sadly, Zara and Mike Tindall have lost their baby. At this difficult time, we ask that everyone respects their privacy.”

The 35-year-old is believed to be in stable condition and recovering with medical care.

The baby would have been a new sibling to Mia, the couple’s two-year-old daughter, and the Queen’s sixth great-grandchild.
