Sharing in the traditional spirit

THE Costa Blanca’s foreign and Spanish communities already enjoy good relations, but Christmas brings them especially close.

This was particularly noticeable in Benitachell recently when White Voices, the choir from the Christian Fellowship church sang Christmas carols outside the local market. The traditional songs were familiar to the town’s many British residents, but less so to Benitachell mayor, Josep Femenia, who sang along with the help of a song sheet.
