Deepwater Horizon

The story is based on the real events of the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico. A technical failure causes a disastrous blowout as burning oil spreads fire across the deck leaving the crew on board the rig fighting for their survival.

Electrician Mike Williams risks his own life to help his colleagues as they struggle through the debris in their attempt to get off the rig. Mike’s distraught wife Felicia watches helplessly as events are transmitted live on television leaving her uncertain as to whether her husband will make it out alive.
