The provider streamed hundreds of pay-per-view channels illegally
POLICE have closed down an internet service provider that illegally streamed hundreds of pay-per-view channels, some of them showing Premier League matches.
Police said the company was being run from the UK by two Britons using “sophisticated video recording devices.”
According to police reports, as soon as officers entered the facility the owners attempted to remotely destroy evidence but were unsuccessful.
An undercover representative of the Football Association discovered the provider sold their devices at a fraction of the retail cost from a shopping centre in Malaga.
