Colombian drug traffickers arrested with help of Interpol

WORKING with Interpol in Spain and the National Police in Colombia, officers of the Guardia Civil have tracked down and had arrested for deportation, 10 individuals who had committed crimes in Spain but had returned to Colombia to try to escape justice.

All of those arrested were involved in drug trafficking and in most cases money laundering as well as belonging to criminal gangs and were picked up in a number of towns and cities including the infamous Medellin in Colombia.

This operation was made possible by the hard work and cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries together with Interpol.
