Ian Thompson
THE National Police in Estepona have announced that they have recovered the body of Ian Thompson, a British resident who went missing almost a week ago.
His lifeless remains were found between his car and an electricity pylon on calle Jerguen in the El Paraiso neighbourhood.
Mr Thompson, 64, disappeared on Friday March 3 after leaving his home to go to work, but he never arrived and an official search was launched on Saturday morning.
Police sources have suggested that there are no indications that anyone else was involved in his death, although the investigation is not yet complete.
