SITUATED in the picturesque town of La Nucia, and offering stunning views of Polop, is the rustic grill house Carbon restaurant.

Originally an old town house, Ahmed Abdel, the restaurant owner, transformed the property into the current, spacious but rustic feeling three level dining experience.

Ahmed and his staff at the grill house promise you won’t be disappointed with the generous portions served, using only 100% premium meat and 100% fresh and natural produce.

Diners can chose from the three course set menus, which range from €16.90 to €26.90 including a drink, for adults, with a children’s menu for €7.90, or make their selection from the extensive menu which offers mouth-watering starters, salads, main courses and if you still have room, deserts to tantalise the taste buds.

From tasty platters to share, authentic US flavours from the Carbon grill, Italian style pastas and pizzas, and a specially created menu for clients who have special diets or allergies the Carbon restaurant prides itself on making their customers dining experience a memorable one.

Designed on three levels, diners can opt to eat on the ground level, upstairs – which is also furnished with luxurious leather sofas – or out on the terrace.  No matter which area you chose to enjoy your meal, the uninterrupted stunning view is included in the price.

Carbon – which also caters for clients who just wish to enjoy the views with a glass of wine or cup of coffee – welcomes groups bookings and can design made to measure packages for weddings, birthdays or business meetings.

Currently on Saturday evenings Carbon customers can enjoy a variety of live entertainment.  This ranges from traditional flamenco to modern musical performances.

Carbon adapts well to its clients’ needs.  As temperatures rise and more choose to sit on the terrace, the outside dining area is extended and the ground floor transforms into a lounge area with luxurious sofas, whilst still catering for those who prefer to dine inside.  The live entertainment is also extended, with customers being able to enjoy a varied selection of performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

The Carbon offers free Wi-Fi and parking and is open seven days a week.  Monday to Friday 12 noon until 12 midnight, Saturday and Sunday 12 noon until 1am.
