SUMMER is just around the corner so it’s time to think about protection.
With the towel in one hand, book in the other as you head to the beach to take in some rays, which sun cream will be in your bag?
Although awareness about how important it is to protect skin from the sun is increasing, there are still many who forget to always have their faces protected to avoid wrinkles, blemishes and signs of early aging, even as you go about daily life and are not consciously basking in the sun, stay protected. But there are also many products on the market, so what should you choose to best protect yourself?
Skin with acne
In adolescence in particular, it is very important to take care of the face, not only to protect against future aging, but with acne, exposure to the sun can lead to scaring and marks from spots. When using a cream avoid oily lotions and use a high protection product with a dry touch finish.
Atopic skin
Those who suffer from atopic skin, which is prone to inflammation, redness or eczema, always need special care. The best option is a sunscreen with very high protection which is labelled as being suitable for fragile skins with atopic tendency, as these creams tend to be less sticky.
Anti-age
The sun is the worst enemy for those who are getting a little older or are showing the signs of aging, so whilst it is still important to enjoy an outdoor, active life, use a minimum factor 50 protection on the face, which protects against both UVA and UVB rays.
Pale skins
If you don’t want to hit the beach looking too pale, but at the same time want to protect your face, try a light moisturising tint with an SPF in it.
