Ferrari dominates practice stage in Spanish Grand Prix

FERRARI claimed first and second place in final practice at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Kimi Raikkonen leads the team with Sebastian Vettel finishing 0.242 seconds slower, turning the tables on Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton who set the pace in both Friday sessions.

Hamilton ended in third place, just 0.381 seconds slower than Raikkonen.

A faltering McLaren had a better day than Friday, where Fernando Alonso’s car suffered massive engine failure, and finished 1.879 seconds off the pace.

The Spaniard’s frustration could be seen as he refused to talk to Honda F1 boss Yusuke Hasegawa.
