TWO Spaniards have been arrested for attacking the men who stabbed nightclub bouncers in Torremolinos.
The 31 and 37-year-olds were allegedly part of the group of people who attacked the detained pair as they were being taken away by police officers.
A group of partygoers chased the assailants, who attacked the doormen of a bar after being removed from the premises for aggressive behaviour.
Police reports say some 50 people “with hostile attitudes” were at the scene when police arrived and despite their efforts to stop the violence, one of the men’s jaws was broken while they were handcuffed and being taken to a police car.
The two Spaniards have given statements at the police station over assault charges and were later released pending a court summons.
