POLICE in Barcelona have arrested an alleged jihadi extremist for promoting terrorism and inciting hatred.
The Spanish citizen, originally a Palestinian refugee, was monitored by authorities as there were a number of posts on his social media account promoting extremism and supporting jihadi terrorist organisations.
It is also alleged the person had often expressed his hatred towards Israel, Spain and the western world and would assist groups such as DAESH whilst in Lebanese refugee camps.
Police raided the suspect’s home and seized three computers, four hard drives, four mobile phones, €1,600 in cash and other storage devices and documentation.
