Firefighters arriving at Miramar shopping centre
AN explosion in a kitchen inside the Miramar shopping centre in Fuengirola caused panic.
A loud bang was heard in the ‘Cien Pizzitas’ kitchen when one of their fryers caught fire, causing customers and workers alike to flee the building, with many leaving their cars behind.
The lack of information from staff is believed to have further exacerbated the situation.
Firefighters soon arrived and dealt with the situation in the kitchen.
There are no reports of injuries.
