Street fire wakes residents in Malaga

A BLAZE affecting several cars and a nearby residential block broke out in the early hours in Nuevo San Andres, Malaga.

At approximately 3.30am residents of Calle Puerto Oncala woke from their sleep to find two vehicles alight, causing flames to reach the first and second floor of nearby flats.

In addition to the cars, the fire spread to the room of a ground floor flat and burnt through the blinds of several homes on the first floor of the building. Luckily, no one was harmed during the incident. 

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, but have so far been unable to ascertain what caused it.
